The FREE Museum at FIT is having an exhibit about the impact of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire March 25, 1911 that opens June 13th. Last year, on March 25th I spent the day attending commemoration ceremonies and exploring neighborhoods.
The Clearwater Festival, one of the best reasons to leave town that I still haven't gone to, takes place June 16 and 17th. Readers of this blog know that I have always been a Pete Seeger Fan. This year, some of the Festival entertainment will be performing at Symphony Space on June 13 and June 14 and I will see them there.
Japanalia, the folks who make the funky clothes I wear that have great colors, big pockets and elastic waists, will be doing a trunk show. In my one armed state, these clothes made my life a whole lot easier.
