Superstitions Italian Style

The Italian American Network, a channel for all things Italian, has a wonderful array of programs but none are as interesting as the videos on Italian superstitions.

These entertaining vignettes star the fabulous LuLu LoLo who spins her "Wheel of the Evil Eye." (Watch a sample video clip: #17 Is Bad Luck.) She plays all the parts and offers useful advice for those of us who need a bit of extra luck.... or at least those who try to avoid the other kind of luck. How was I to know that you must never pour water into water? Or never cross arms across a table? Let us all be warned....
