The New York Public Library offers a lecture on how to research all subjects on the occult and parapsychology in the library. In fact there are a load of great resource material at the library on a range of new age subjects. They have an extensive collection of books and research materials on a range of new age subjects including astrology, ghosts, magic, alchemy, palmistry, witchcraft, UFOs, yoga, reincarnation, clairvoyance etc.

If you go to the library you will be able to access websites and sources that you cannot access at home on your computer. The library maintains some subscriptions and memberships for these great research sites. You can also search on rare and very old books and even print out some of the pages of these books. And the library also subscribes to journals - both old and new - on the subject. Examples are "Fate: True Stories of the Strange and Unknown" from 1948-1962), Fortean Times (1974-present), Journal of Parapsychology ((1937-present), Journal of Religion and Psychical Research ((1981-present), New Age Journal (1983-present), Journal of the Society of Psychical Research (1882-present) and Psi Researcher (1991-present).
