Venus moves across the face of the Sun
Venus transit on June 5 – this is a twice-in-a-century occurrence.
There may be pictures in the news showing a small, dark disc seen against the surface of the Sun.
In an eclipse, the
Moon appears to be approximately the same size as the Sun – but with this event, because Venus is so much closer to the Sun, we see how tiny Venus is against the powerful and all consuming star at the center of our system.
WHAT DOES ASTROLOGY SAY ABOUT THE VENUS TRANSIT?
Since this is an event that only happens twice every 100+ years, there is not enough evidence to predict the outcome – but there are some recurring themes:
Death and overthrow of male leaders
Rise of prominent women
Women coming to power and taking on influential roles that would normally be taken by men
Violence associated with passion and emotional overload
Control through love
Overthrow of male-dominated culture and woman-power asserting itself though ideas and events
Balance between male/female, yin/young shifts in favor of finding compassionate resolution.
On a personal level
Time to make choices in relationships – towards a more equal balance of power and how we connect.
Be co-operative, but stand up for what you want.
Be proud of yourself and all that you have accomplished – use this moment to figure out what would be good for YOU going forwards.
The universe wants you to be powerful and is sending you energy to ‘make-over’ the way you connect with others.
This is most powerful for those who have Gemini Sun, Moon or Ascendant, but everyone has Gemini somewhere in their natal chart and this cosmic event will transform a specific area of your life.
