You probably won't see this again in your lifetime! These animals were photographed just north of the Wisconsin border on a highway near Marenisco, MI... Once in awhile there is an opportunity to take in a piece of nature that you may never see. In these days of unrest and turmoil it is great to see that GOD still produces some wondrous beauty. The odds of seeing an albino moose are astronomical and to see this in the upper peninsula of Michigan, near Wisconsin, is even greater than astronomical. To see two of them together is nearly impossible. We wanted to share these photos with as many people as possible because you will probably never have a chance to see this rare sight again. This is a really special treat, so enjoy the shots of a lifetime.Well, I would say that yes you should enjoy the beautiful photos, but don't always believe every email that you receive. Some of these photos looked familiar to me so I headed over to Snopes where I found an article on Albino Moose and saw the same photos I received in my email. Read the Snopes article for all the details but in brief they believe that the moose are likely to be white-colored moose rather than true albinos and that these photos have been part of several emails over the last few years with various locations attributed to the moose.
The photographs are nice (see more of them at the Snopes site) but I do wonder who took them and who started the email chain. Related post: White Moose. Learn more, read: Moose: Giants of the Northern Forest.

Although this time, I believe snopes but one cannot believe everything they print. I've read things there that I know were or weren't true and snopes had it as the opposite without good support.
These are beautiful pictures. I don't care if these are true albinos or not, they still make for good photos.

According to the Department of Natural Resources, these are in fact Albino moose. Albino meaning lack of pigment. And I agree, they are beautiful photos, not photo-shopped.
