Museum Mile Festival June 11, 2013 - and Upper Central Park - and
the church of Saint John the Divine!
The Museum Mile Festival is fun but crowded. Most people start at the crowded southern end. The fun museums are at the Top of the Park: Museo del Barrio and The Museum of the City of New York. The festival doesn't include Saint John the Divine or Upper Central Park but you can visit both on the way to the festival by coming along on this special Any Roads Tour at 3:45 from Columbus Circle. Hope to see you for the tour on Tuesday.
If you are an early riser, you can take a closer look at the lower portion of Central Park and arrive at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (or the American Museum of Natural History) at opening time (and visit the Apple Store when it is quiet) with this weekly Saturday morning tour. This is the best time to explore Central Park!
See you soon! Here is a prior Museum Mile Festival post.
