Triangle Shirtwaist Commemoration - March 25, 2014

Here are some pictures from this year's commemoration, chalk sites I found later in the day, and other things in the neighborhood.

The ceremony. Children at the ceremony. Many of the names were read by children. The great grandson of a victim chalked by my friend Charlene (see prior post) read his name.  The height of the longest fire ladder on the day of the fire.  The fire department arrived within 5 minutes but could not help the victims on the top
