Welcome to My Blog About Living Life Being Legally Blind

For 30 years or so my eyesight was slowly deteriorating from glaucoma but I wasn't prepared for becoming legally blind because its onset was so sudden.  I was working on my computer when I noticed a bluish haze.  The next day I couldn't see out of my right eye and it turned out that I had sufferred a stroke in that eye.  This was 3 years ago.

Being a writer I've wanted to write about being legally blind for the past few years but was unable to do so.  Then a close friend suggested I try blogging about it.  However, first I had to understand what a blog was and then the next hurdle was getting used to speaking my thoughts rather than writing them down on a notepad. 

I'm hoping this blog will serve readers in the same way that my book about learning how to understand and appreciate art has done.
