Fear and Terror Moons

I have to admit that I find The Smithsonian Magazine pretty interesting. And occasionally they even have something bloggable... like right now.

Each issue has "This Month in History" which, for August, has a post on the planet Mars. Apparantly 130 years ago, on august 11, 1877, astronomer Asaph Hall spied something hovering  next to Mars. A few days later, that same light had a second one next to it. Mr Hall discovered two Martian moons and promptly named them Phobos (Fear) and Deimos (Terror), after Aries' sons. (Aries is Mars in Greek mythology....) Does this mean that Aries begets fear and terror? Ask the Greeks.
