Red Carpet Fashion by Astrology
The stars shone last night at the Oscars and some of the beautiful (and/or outrageous) dresses worn by the glitterati have been analyzed astrologically here.
In fact astrology can play a part in how we decide to dress. If you have a Sagittarian influence in your chart you may go for more informal clothes such as turtlenecks and jeans. Cancers may choose more conservative, homey dresses. Libras might wear something more glamourous. Here is a snapshot of fashion by the signs:
Aries (March 21- April 20) - Think bold, red, powerful looking clothing, power suits, footwear ranging from spikes to boots.
Taurus (April 21-May 20) - They are more conservative, practical, cozy, warm clothes in earth tone shades.
Gemini May 21-June 20) - Think green, fun, flirty fasions. Something outrageous and something that folks will talk about.
Cancer (June 21-July 20) - They like prim, proper, conservative yet frilly clothes. Shades of blues or pinks work well.
Leo (July 21-Aug 20) - They love dramatic, bold and brash colors and prints, something to make a fashion (and other) statement.
Virgo (Aug 21-Sep 20) - Think librarian with some fancy undergarments underneath. They like to look straight laced but they are still earth signs!
Libra (Sep 21-Oct 20) - Fashionistas with a great style sense. Think accessories, bright colors, plunging necklines and high hems.
Scorpio (Oct 21- Nov 20) - They like to be more mysterious with dark colors - black especially - and have a sense of sexy power.
Sagittarius (Nov 21-Dec 20) - They prefer the informal, basic comfortable stuff, keep it simple, loose and lived-in.
Capricorn (Dec 21-Jan 20) - They dress for success, business suits, prestige and power, brand names.
Aquarius (Jan 21-Feb 19) - They are unorthodox and prefer utilitarian with lots of pockets, different colors and patterns, something that stands out.
Pisces (Feb 20-Mar 20) - Expect scarves, jewelry, loose fitting new age type of clothing with flowery patterns and a romantic air.
