Astronaut Says UFOs Exist and There Has Been a Cover-up

Dr. Edgar Mitchell is both a NASA scientist and a veteran of the Apollo 14 space mission. According to several reputable newspapers, he recently stated quite emphatically that aliens from outer space exist and have have visited Earth on several occasions. However these extra-terrestial visits have been covered up by governments for six decades.

Ufo

He said supposedly real-life ET's were similar to the traditional image of a small frame, large eyes and head. They have highly sophisticated technology that easily out-performs ours so "had they been hostile", he warned "we would be been gone by now".

Dr Mitchell, along with with Apollo 14 commander Alan Shepard, holds the record for the longest ever moon walk, at nine hours and 17 minutes following their 1971 mission. "I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we've been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real," Dr Mitchell said. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering and a Doctor of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics.

He said that the alien landing at Roswell in particluar was real and covered up by the government. Officials from NASA, however, were quick to play the comments down.

But has all of this been blown out of proportion? Here is an interview with Dr. Mitchell that sets the record straight on his remarks. Or so we think....

Astronumerology and Home Buying and Selling

Jessie Kalsi is a California numerologist who uses astronumerology for a variety of things including how to buy and sell homes, help retail business improve through address analysis and name changes and help improve home "energy". He also analyses sports numbers on athletes jerseys. All in all very interesting work! And he has a terrific website.

Astronumerology

An example: Business Numerology from his website: "The owners of Salathai Resturant in Fremont, CA approached me for a reading as their business was suffering. After a detailed analysis, I used a number 5 to shift the energy to make it a profitable food business."

And an example of Business Name Changes: "The success of a business is greatly dependent on a business name with the right numerological vibration and a positive business address. Different businesses are associated with different numbers, depending on the energy of each individual’s vibration. The use of special stones can also greatly enhance the success of a business. It is also extremely important that the business be born at an auspicious astrological time. Buying and selling real estate or stocks are all related to timing and numerology."

This is an area that does not the the attention it deserves. ANd especially now when real estate is an iffy prospect, we can use all the help we can get. Please check out his site.

Weekly horoscope for the week of August 25, 2008

This week the Sun enters steady Virgo. Use the time to consolidate your gains. Not only can you turn a practical eye to the issues at hand, you can also build your future on solid ground and not on shifting sands. Unless of course you are relaxing at the beach... Here's a classic book that provides lots of timely practical advice: The Secret Language of Birthdays (reissue).

Virgo

ARIES   (MARCH 21 - APRIL 20)
You have the ability to prioritize and execute any detailed task. Not only are you extra efficient, you also feel fit and energized. There is no stopping you, Ram. Rev your motor, get on the highway, avoid detours and try not to yield to temptation.

TAURUS   (APRIL 21 - MAY 21)
Your organization skills can be best used in any fun or creative venture. For those Bulls who prefer to relax, your considerable charm can be used to delegate all the party details. How many helping hands can you get to work under you...?

GEMINI   (MAY 22 - JUNE 21)
Twins will be able to not only improve their surroundings, they can also deal with difficult family members and put long and strained issues to rest. A no nonsense approach will work well, as will your ability to pretend to compromise.

CANCER   (JUNE 22 - JULY 23)
Ask and you will receive this week. Your mind is active and ablaze with some great ideas. Launch some of these new concepts and see who responds. This is no time to be shy and retiring.... unless that is the best way to move others to action.

LEO   (JULY 24 - AUGUST 23)
Lions find that their portfolios get a lift. Maybe it’s because you are thinking more practically. Or maybe you are seeking the right advisors. Whatever fills your bill, make the most of it. Too too soon you can revert back to splurges that submerges.

VIRGO   (AUGUST 24 - SEPTEMBER 23)
You have opportunities to show the world what you can do. Rub elbows (among other things) with the glitterati and make good use of new contacts you make. Before you know it you will be on the top of the heap. The question is - which heap?

LIBRA   (SEPTEMBER 24 - OCTOBER 23)
You have the ability to overcome the fates. There is someone looking out for you. Libras not only fine tune their intuition, they have the aptitude to maneuver behind the scenes to set things right and get things going. So what are you waiting for??

SCORPIO   (OCTOBER 24 - NOVEMBER 22)
This is not the time to be alone or fade into the background Scorp. Friends and hangers on seek you out for fun and excitement. And you seem to know just what to do to make any gathering glittering. Bring on the ice sculptures and the beer kegs!

SAGITTARIUS   (NOVEMBER 23 - DECEMBER 22)
Archers, long impatient for some positive change, find that their career gets back on track. The secret is to make the correct choices as options open up. Will it be for the money, the power or the fun? Alas, it is never for all three.

CAPRICORN   (DECEMBER 23 - JANUARY 20)
Caps are ready for one more summer fling. If time or money are tight, there are ways to keep the hot mood going closer to home. Dine al fresco, take a new course of study, muscle in on a neighbors pool. The world is your oyster, at least until September.

AQUARIUS   (JANUARY 21 - FEBRUARY 19)
Not only can you attract anyone you want, you find the plum in a basket of pits. So make yourself available. Your charisma cannot be restrained ... unless that turns you on. Will you play hard to get or hard to hold? What is the difference?

PISCES   (FEBRUARY 20 - MARCH 20)
Relationships get back on course this week. Open communication is important but so too is an ability to compromise and fulfill on promises. Fish who ache for a new connection can find one. But you have to find the right outlet.

Astrology.com: Free Daily Horoscope and a "Free" Relationship Reading?

Raspb I tend to avoid sites like astrology.com because I find that their daily horoscopes are not accurate. In fact I think most daily astrology predictions are not especially accurate, with the exception of those by the late Patrick Walker who I think is was a master among astrology masters.

So anyway, I was exploring various horoscope and astrology websites and through another link I found myself on the www.astrology.com site. I decided to read my daily horoscope which said it was a child-like day for me (maybe I wasn't fulfilling my astrological potential but it certainly was not a playful childlike day for me). Then I was offered a free relationship reading. How could I resist? I typed in all this personal information like birthdate, year, time and place and email address.

The site then said it was calculating my free reading. And then after a few seconds I was directed to another page asking me which email newsletters I would like to receive (the list had 53 to choose from. Rather than clicking 53 times, there was a tab where I could just "choose all"). I chose none.

Then I was instructed to go to the next page. Hoping to get my "free reading" I was then given the opportunity to choose from a range of offers from Astrology.com's partners such as Red Lobster, Fisher-Price toys and ADT security. Some of these opportunities were helpfully already checked off as "yes" for me. How nice!

I decided to click on the "skip" box and go to the next page which said "click here to get your free sample reading".... however if I wanted to upgrade to a full-length reading I could "Buy Now" with a 20% off discount or "Get it Free" by going to a free checkout. I am all for free so I clicked on that.

By "free" Astrology.com means this:

"Astrology.com has partnered with CheckoutFree to allow you to get your Relationship Potential Reading for FREE! Simply agree to try or purchase one of CheckoutFree advertisers' offers, and the advertiser will pay for your Relationship Potential Reading."

Does that sound free to you? At this point I bailed out... but not before having to close pop ups from the site for more products and services that were not-for-free.

Oh yes, and the free sample reading? It was supposed to be a relationship comparison between two people but the sample reading did not compare the charts at all. It just gave a short overview about how each individual person approaches relationships in general. Disappointing.

My concern here is that astrology.com is very pervasive and is considered one of the major astrology and horoscope destinations. I think it gives astrology and horoscope sites in general a bad rap.

I am giving several raspberries to astrology.com. And they are absolutely for free. Do you have a candidate for a "raspberry award"? Send it to me for consideration.
