Mercury Retrograde September 24, 2008
This just in from eminent astrologer Felissa Rose:
Mercury will be going retrograde on
September, 24, 2008
at 22 degrees 50 minutes of Libra at 3:18 am EDT
and go direct on
October 15, 2008 at 4:07 pm EDT
at 7 degrees 37 minutes of Libra.
Libra is the sign ruling relationships and harmony, Mercury is the planet governing communication and information. During this period these elements will be highlighted. As a result, communications between partners, friends and lovers will take extra effort. Getting the words right and relating one’s actions and thoughts WILL be more difficult than when Mercury isn’t retrograde. During Mercury retrograde periods people tend to be more introspective. Thinking first before speaking would be a BIG plus to achieving harmony now.
Libra and its ruling planet Venus govern diplomacy. In a heated presidential election the sparks will be flying along with the half truths and outright lies. This seems to be what’s taking place even with Mercury not being retrograde but as I write this with Mercury stationary in the sky truths are being revealed and brought to attention on-line and even by the media. More will come to light when Mercury goes direct, when people are more apt to pay more attention and be more focused.
The last presidential debate on October 15 occurs on the day Mercury goes direct and should be most significant. After that individuals will have a clearer sense of who they are going to vote for.
Diplomacy between nations can also get sidetracked during this period. Negotiations can continue but resolutions are most likely to be put off until Mercury goes direct. Libra is the sign of justice so initiating laws and other legal matters should also be put off until it’s no longer retrograde.
The usual Mercury retrograde warnings on not signing contracts or purchasing electronic and/or mechanical equipment apply as well.
Mercury will next be retrograde:
from January 11 to February 1, 2009
and May 7 to May 30, 2009.
