Solar and Lunar Eclipses in July and August 2009
We are in for a very interesting summer. There are two lunar eclipses and one solar eclipse in the span of a month of time - from July 7 to August 6. But of course we know that the astrological effects of eclipses last longer than the day they occur. I have written about eclipses before. The impact of any eclipse is that we are stirred to action but the best action is no action (or reaction) until the full brunt of the eclipse passes: up to thirteen days total leading up to, through and after it occurs.
The first - a lunar eclipse - occurs on July 7 in Capricorn. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn. Expect obligations, life lessons and changes in status to be highlighted and possibly tested. See where Capricorn and Saturn sit in your chart and the aspects (angles with other planets) that the eclipse with moon in Capricorn will create in your own personal horoscope birthchart.
The second, on July 22, 2009 is a solar eclipse in Cancer. Cancer is ruled by the moon and is a moddy placement. Expect emotions to run high. Please try not to over react to anything that hits you emotionally. Wait and think it out.
The third, on August 6, 2009 is a lunar eclipse in Aquarius. Aquarius is ruled by Uranus (shocks, sparks and surprises). Wherever this eclipse aspects to your birthchart, expect surprises (possibly created by your own actions). Don't become rattled. Wait until the dust settles before you react.
A very good article on the eclipses and the summer solstice can be found at BlueLightLady astrology blog. Please check it out.
