Astrology Timing For Taxes by Jenni Stone

Here is Jenni Stone's latest newsletter. It has a very interesting article on Astrology Timing for Taxes. A must read:

Astrology timing for filing taxes

Since Mercury goes Retrograde at the end of March - and there is more chance of having to 'do-over' during the retrograde, it would be better to visit your tax advisor early this year.

Other suggestions - do not file when the moon is void - either electronically, or by putting the envelope into the mail. While I've heard astrologers tell clients that they should file during the void moon, believing that "nothing will come of this", I personally believe that projects started during the void can backfire and the results turn out to be negative, and different from what you expect.
Best options are when the Moon is in the sign of Gemini for good communication - Moon in Virgo, when you are practical, sensible and aware of details - and Moon in Capricorn since this is considered the best time to approach authority figures.  Next best choices are Moon in Cancer, Moon in Libra and Moon in Aquarius.

Horoscope for the Week of February 28, 2011

Mickey_Rourke_6 It is true for some that March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb. But as this month gets underway, the planets have a lot to say about the advantage of being brash and out spoken especially as feisty Mars conjuncts chatty Mercury. So call it as you see it in the next few weeks!

ARIES   (MARCH 21 - APRIL 20)
There is more to life than trying to conform and blend into the background. And blending into the herd is not your karmic destiny anyway, Ram. Find out what is inside you that yearns to break free. Then harness your energies to march out into the light and toss off your shackles of “what if”s. You have nothing to lose but your mental chains and bad haircut.

TAURUS   (APRIL 21 - MAY 21)
Get involved in greater group efforts and see how the dynamic can move you into new, more productive circles of influence. Bulls can fall into dull routines where sitting in front of the tv become high entertainment. Not for you. Not now. Get off the couch and onto something amazing. Remember, you can dream or you can do, do ,do.

GEMINI   (MAY 22 - JUNE 21)
Think about what you want to say to bosses, refine your best moves and give it a go. There could be a big opportunity to make substantial professional gains and reposition yourself into the inner circle. But it all depends on what you say, how you say it and most importantly, if you have been assiduously working towards it, obviously. Uh oh.

CANCER   (JUNE 22 - JULY 23)
Go for it Crab. I am not sure what “it” is but you sure do. There is a hankering in your soul that cries out for something big, something universal and something very different from where you are now. Explore and expand your horizon. Take a class. Take a vacation. Take a breather from anything and anyone who takes up your fresh air. You will thank me later.

LEO   (JULY 24 - AUGUST 23)
You are usually feisty and zesty but starting this week there will be no tying you down and reining you in... unless that is your ultimate plan. Lions raise the temperature of any scene they decide to steal. So make it your big show and demonstrate why you are a regal and very sexy beast. You attract admirers without really trying. So imagine if you really tried...?

VIRGO   (AUGUST 24 - SEPTEMBER 23)
Virgins seek a meaningful one to one. Or is it really a one on one? No matter how you decide to stack it, it is a good time to cement close relationships, whether they are for business or for pleasure. For those who are in between liaisons, see if there is a new bunch of possibilities waiting for you in some hot local spot .. or in the next office.

LIBRA   (SEPTEMBER 24 - OCTOBER 23)
Make the next few weeks a time of personal accomplishments and successes. That means focusing on the details and getting to work. No matter how small the task, there will be something satisfying about finishing it and getting it off your desk. Libras  soon find that they have more time to relax and just have fun. But not necessarily in the next weeks.

SCORPIO   (OCTOBER 24 - NOVEMBER 22)
Lighten up, Scorpio. Life seems to be bearing down on you nowadays. Now is the time to party hearty and get a bit farty. Silliness is part remedy and part release. The true benefit of not taking yourself too seriously is that it gives you more expanse and clarity. It takes you away from obsession and leads you to refreshen. Or something like that.

SAGITTARIUS   (NOVEMBER 23 - DECEMBER 22)
Even though you pine for new vistas and have the proverbial Sagittarian itchy travellin’ feet, there is something nice about sticking closer to home now. You will be surprised at how delightful life can be and how much you can accomplish around the neighborhood instead of around the world. Of course you can also cruise the internet to get your international zest.

CAPRICORN   (DECEMBER 23 - JANUARY 20)
Learn a new thing or two. Caps not only need to spice up their life, they need to stimulate their minds. It could be a perfect combination of efforts to do both at once. Where to start? Try taking a class, or launching a new hobby or putting your overall knowledge to work and write a book. Or is it a vook or a blog or a vlog? Does it matter? Concentrate.

AQUARIUS   (JANUARY 21 - FEBRUARY 19)
Is it time to re-evaluate what you truly value? Perhaps, Aquarius. Upon closer inspection, you find that your karmic path has strayed away from the true essentials of what is meaningful to you. This is not necessarily a bad thing but it may make you feel lost and at sea sometimes. So reconfigure your navigation and set sail for the lost horizon. Well hello sailor!

PISCES   (FEBRUARY 20 - MARCH 20)
All eyes are upon you , Pisces. And there is nothing to be shy about. You have a short time to make your personal mark. Figure out what you want to say and who you want to say it to. Then get yourself situated in the right circles of influence and make your spiel. If you press you will impress. The most important thing is to get it going before it gets up and goes.

Lucky Numbers for the Week of February 25, 2011

Lottery ads tell us you only need a dollar and a dream. But I think it is also helpful to have a list of lucky numbers to help spur the good fortune ... or fortunes.

So with that in mind, here are some lucky numbers that can be used in any helpful way. I gazed into a pool of water, Nostradamus-like, and contemplated the cosmos. Then I mixed the tarot cards and allowed the spirits to guide me to the cards that represent the lucky numbers for this week. Nothing is guaranteed but who knows ....?

I choose eight numbers because 8 is the number of wealth.

Here are the lucky numbers for the week of February 25-March 3, 2011:

1, 17, 19, 25, 34, 39, 40, 65

There are many ways to delve into your own consciousness to find luck and intuition. Try reading Dream Power/Improve Your Luck (Super Strength Series) and see if your dreams give you any clues and premonitions. Here's a guide to the best books available this month

Beet Juice Improves Blood Flow

As part of my new years resolutions, I will occsaionally offer healthiness stuff that is easy to do and highly beneficial. Along those lines, here is an interesting article on the healthy aspects of beet juice. Of course as with anything, taken in moderation...

Here is the topline of what the article on future pundit says:

Researchers for the first time have shown that drinking beet juice can increase blood flow to the brain in older adults – a finding that could hold great potential for combating the progression of dementia. The research findings are available online in Nitric Oxide: Biology and Chemistry, the peer-reviewed journal of the Nitric Oxide Society and will be available in print soon. (Read the abstract.)

I think anything in moderation is good. I have read however that an excessive amount of beets is also not good for you. For example, if you are having fresh squeezed vegetable juice, beets are added in small amounts along with other vegetable. A full glass beet juice is decidely NOT healthy. It is too powerful - hard on the kidneys. You would mix it with something that dilutes it like celery.

So resolve to eat healthier .. and read all the labels.

Canned foods are not really good for you. But this link will take to a other products that are healthier. There are no raw beets on amaxzon....

Electrifying Brain Tumors

Electric brain As we enter the Age of Aquarius in around 2020, expect to see more and more mediacl breakthroughs, especially through novel, unorthodox and electrical means (ruled by Aquarius...) . So I am not surprised to read about a new discovery - the use of electric fields, in combination with chemotherapy, helps prevent new tumor growth of deadly brain tumors.

The particularly lethal brain cancer known as glioblastoma multiforme is fast-growing, difficult to treat, and nearly always fatal; even with aggressive therapy, patients have a median survival time of less than two years. But scientists are pursuing new ways to attack this type of brain tumor, and one company may just be succeeding. NovoCure, a small startup founded in Israel in 2000, has developed a device that uses an electric field to disrupt the growth of cancer cells, and early results are promising. Out of ten patients who started using the device in combination with chemotherapy shortly after their initial diagnosis, seven are still alive more than four years later, and five of them show no signs of cancer progression.

Israeli companies are on the forefront of many startling inventions - not just in medicine but also in general well being such as water salination and alternative energy. There are few books on the subject but here is one - The Take-off of Israeli High-Tech Entrepreneurship During the 1990's: A Strategic Management Research Perspective (Technology, Innovation, Entrepreneurship ... and Competitive Strategy Series)
