Cris Alexander - What is in a Name?

A recent obituary in the New York Times possibly attests to the value of Numerology and especially name related numerology. It is the story of Chris Alexander who was told by a numerologist to drop the "h" in his first name. He did and the rest is history -

He was born Allen Smith in Tulsa on Jan. 14, 1920, but by his teens he was calling himself Christopher, a name he thought befitting of a distinguished actor. Then, as he recalled, he visited a spiritualist, who asked what he most desired. “Success,” he shot back. “Well I can guarantee you success if you do one thing,” he quoted her as saying. “Call yourself ‘Chris’ and take the ‘h’ out.” The next day Cris went to a radio station and got a job as an announcer, even though he stuttered. (He would eventually overcome that speech disorder.)

Horoscope for May 2012 and the Week of April 30, 2012

ARIES   (MARCH 21 - APRIL 20)
Much of the next week could be spent trying to catch up on the nitty gritty leftovers of the day. LEO   (JULY 24 - AUGUST 23)
Money and its impact on your life will be a consistent theme for the next few weeks. Are you getting ready for your comfortable future? Leos who have done their fiscal homework can now feel the benefits while those who need more time to work on their foundation will get the right building materials. It’s only a matter of discipline... and a couple of bucks.

VIRGO   (AUGUST 24 - SEPTEMBER 23)
This is a time of romance, connection and possible commitment... but only if you really want it. Virgos currently ensconced in a relationship need to focus on balance - yours vs their needs. If you are searching for your dreamboat, it may be time to pull up anchor and set sail for different waters. You never know where you will wash ashore.

LIBRA   (SEPTEMBER 24 - OCTOBER 23)
There is so much going on in the background that it may spill out into the foreground. Libras are not only more cognizant of scuttlebutt, they are also part of the behind-the-scenes action. While you are unearthing secrets, clean out your own cache and rid yourself of excess psychological spam. Remember, those who live in glass houses must dress in the basement.

SCORPIO   (OCTOBER 24 - NOVEMBER 22)
You are poised to become a social force and need to rally the troops. How creative can you get? Let’s just see. Romance, art, drama and passion are all possible. Scorpios can enlist a group of like minded compadres and mix it all up to a frothy lather. Just don’t overdo and bury yourself in the whipped cream. Or maybe that is part of the dramatic plan?

SAGITTARIUS   (NOVEMBER 23 - DECEMBER 22)
This is not the time to suffer from low ambition and lack of interest, Sagittarius. Get your head and heart focused on your future plans. The week delivers a plethora of interesting and profitable opportunities to your door. Projects mean money. Who knows what else is possible in the next few months? PISCES   (FEBRUARY 20 - MARCH 20)
Concentrate on improving current relationships - for both business and pleasure. And find some new important folks to meet and greet. Pisces find that connections and good communication help them overcome any obstacle. You make a fabulous first impression. Don’t let all that personal magnetism dissipate. By June you will want to relax and recharge. Zap!

Lottery ads tell us you only need a dollar and a dream. But it is also helpful to have a list of lucky numbers to help spur the good fortune ... or fortunes. So with that in mind, here are some lucky numbers that can be used in any helpful way. I gazed into a pool of water, Nostradamus-like, and contemplated the cosmos. Horoscope for the Week of April 23, 2012

Starting this week, as the Sun enters Taurus and conjuncts lucky Jupiter, the cosmos unleashes a chain of fortuitous events that are bound to have long term implications for us. Not a moment too soon!  Don’t accept anything except first class. You will traveling on this particular dream for a while and will need more leg room.
