Using the Tides to Predict the Stock Market

With the IPO of Facebook puttering along after so much hype, can we be blamed for looking for better methods than stock analysts and wall streeters to help us predict the stock market?

Can you use Tide Pulls to predict the stock market? Big investor Robert Taylor thinks so. He has found that the earth's gravitational pull (as measured by the tidal patterns) affects the stock market. When the pull is at its weakest, the stock markets hits a high (as it did in 2000). When it is at it strongest, the market plummets (as it did in 1987). I guess I will have to start to invest via the Almanac....
