Buddha's Book of Sleep

Sleeping BuddhaDo you ever have trouble falling asleep. I often do. But now I hear that something as simple as just closing your eyes and trying to fall asleep is not the way to go.

According to Joseph Ernet, author of Buddha's Book of Sleep: Sleep Better in Seven Weeks with Mindfulness Meditation , you should use Buddhist principles to help glide you into slumber. That means not closing your eyes but keeping them open and allowing them to tire naturally like when they become droopy as you read a book. Also, concentrate on your breathing to shut out other thoughts.Or doing some yoga-like gratification mental exercises to help your mind relax.

I am ready to try anything!
