ARIES   (MARCH 21 - APRIL 20)
Even though you have many opinions about a certain relationship, you know better than to voice them now. Aries are advised to wait and see what happens before they bleat their displeasure. Who knows what can then happen? Things may evolve to a state where you can sit back and be quiet. Maybe. Maybe not. But you have nothing to lose by listening ... for now.

TAURUS   (APRIL 21 - MAY 21)
Work is not a quiet haven but that is okay. Taureans can achieve nirvana if they can get out from the center of any office politics. Consider taking a  well earned vacation. Or taking on a project where you can work on your own. If you are tossed into the storm, try to stay on the sidelines or pretend you have a conference call in your office.

GEMINI   (MAY 22 - JUNE 21)
Geminis are burning with great ideas, some of which will prove to be exciting and dramatic. So don’t hold yourself back from doing anything creative. Of course, too much time spent on imaginative antics could upset your staid professional image. It is hard to look seriously ambitious wearing ear clamps and a speedo. But if anyone can pull it off, you can.

CANCER   (JUNE 22 - JULY 23)
You make a startling entrance into any family reunion or gathering. Is it your style? Is it your flair? This could change people’s perceptions of you for years to come. So if you are meeting and greeting, be sure to check yourself in the mirror first to see if you really are who you think you are. If you like who you see, go with it. If you need a revamp, now is the time, Cancer.

LEO   (JULY 24 - AUGUST 23)
Leos may not be able to contain themselves and that is because they are brimming with energy filled ideas. If you only had an entourage to help you get things done! But you don’t. What you need to do is find ways to accomplish a lot with very few resources. Once you get the ball rolling, others will want to get in on your act. Start rolling.

VIRGO   (AUGUST 24 - SEPTEMBER 23)
Can money buy you love? Maybe not, but it will be a tempting course of action for you now. Virgos are in love with love and enjoy lavishing partners with assorted trinkets. I hope you get what you think you are paying for once the champagne runs dry. Build your dreams on solid rock and not on shifting sand. Unless you like collecting shells.... 

LIBRA   (SEPTEMBER 24 - OCTOBER 23)
It is possible to charm others to your way of thinking. But what will you do with all of your ardent admirers, some of whom are beginning to annoy you. Libras need to be very discerning before they slather on their personal oil. Quality, not quantity is the secret to your personal success now. And don’t slip on your own slippery overflow.

SCORPIO   (OCTOBER 24 - NOVEMBER 22)
If you listen very carefully, you will hear something secretive and juicy and totally surprising. But what will you do with this fascinating information? Rather than pass it on, let it sit and mull for a while. Things are still in transition and can change very quickly. Scorpios are respected for their accuracy and acumen. Strength is in silence now.  Use it later.

SAGITTARIUS   (NOVEMBER 23 - DECEMBER 22)
Even a mild flirtatious and friendly come-on gets totally out of control as friends might misinterpret your intent. Confusion reigns! Sagittarians often make an unintentional ruckus with their words but now it takes on a life of its own. Expect a platonic melee that upends your romantic plans. One day you will sit back and laugh at all of this. For now, have a beer.

CAPRICORN   (DECEMBER 23 - JANUARY 20)
Your ambitious professional plans may come under greater scrutiny as the week progresses. But that is not a bad thing,  Capricorn. In fact, you probably need a reality check to see if where you are going is where you want to go. Make an excuse to take a work break to relax and recharge at home. There are things (or folks) there that (or who) need your attention.

AQUARIUS   (JANUARY 21 - FEBRUARY 19)
Pending legal issues can get a little out of control so see if you can rest your case quietly, without all the demands and theatrics. Compromise is good. Then, travel and see the world. Or travel and see the neighborhood. The most important thing is to expand your horizon so you can see love and life in a new light. Make it a glow and not a strobe, Aquarius.

PISCES   (FEBRUARY 20 - MARCH 20)
Words of love and lust can take you to new heights of passion. You become immersed in the thrills, the spills and the chills of a certain lusty relationship. Whew! Is that what you really want? If so, jump right in. If you are seeking something more sedate now, be aware that what you say can lead to mischief. Maybe you can use your lips for something other than banter....

My Hair is Totally Unmanageable. I Must Have Leo Rising!

The Rising Sign or the Ascendant is the sign of the zodiac that was on the horizon when you were born. You need to know your birthdate, time and place to calculate your chart - and for the Rising Sign, your time of birth is especially important. I have Leo rising. Investing According to Lunar Cycles Tied to Ponzi Scheme

These are the kinds of news stories that are soooo frustrating:

The Securities and Exchange Commission charged Gurudeo "Buddy" Persaud of Orlando, an ex-broker with defrauding investors through an astrology-based Ponzi scheme that bilked clients out of nearly $1 million. In a plea agreement, Persaud was sentenced to prison this week for mail fraud and ordered to pay $948,340.00 in restitution.

The crime?

Persaud pitched investors a "safe" and guaranteed return of between 6% and 18% by investing in stocks, futures, real estate markets and notes based on lunar cycles and the gravitational pull between the moon and the Earth. He believed that the gravitational pull between the moon and Earth affects human behavior, which in turn impacts the stock markets. For example, Persaud believed that when the moon is positioned in a manner that exerts a greater gravitational pull on human beings, they feel down and are therefore more inclined to sell securities in the markets.

There is science to back this up although the interpretation of lunar cycles may not apply to behavior buying and selling market instruments. The article leads you to believe that the crime was the lunar cycle investing until you read further into the story:

The SEC's investigation revealed that from no later than July 2007 until at least January 2011 Persaud raised more than $1 million from investors but invested only a portion, instead using the money from later investors to pay earlier investors in a classic Ponzi scheme. He also used nearly $415,000 of the money to support his and his family members' lifestyles. Persaud issued phony statements to conceal the fraud from investors.The celestial trading scheme was apparently unsuccessful. On the investments that Persaud did execute, he lost $400,000 -- with net losses on trades from the very first month he received investor contributions.

The REAL crime is the Ponzi portion of the scheme - that he paid old investors with money from new investors. The fact that he lost money investing according to lunar cycles is NOT illegal per sey. But the article leads you to believe that that is part of the illegal activity. Bad investing is bad investng whether it is through financial astrology, moon cycles, bad financial research or a bust market. Ponzi schemes are crimes that have nothing to do with bad financial picks or busts.  The resulting press from all of this casts financial astrology as part of a ponzi crime. This just isn't true. Just wanted to clear that up.
