ARIES   (MARCH 21 - APRIL 20)
Your career takes off. And this is something that you have been working on for while. Can you control the direction or your ascent? It will be hard to control the fates as what you and the powers-that-be do will be unpredictable based on emotional reactions. But that is part of the fun and excitement. TAURUS   (APRIL 21 - MAY 21)
You need to get out of your usual routine, Taurus. And what better way than to pack up your stuff and travel. If you have the time and the money, a last minute trip could be beneficial and with unexpected rewards. If you need to stay close to the home fires, heat up and expand your horizons through study, exotic food, film or folks. Get hot.

GEMINI   (MAY 22 - JUNE 21)
Love is complicated and especially so now. Maybe its because you treat your amours like a smorgasbord and have piled too much on your current plate. You are a charmer and attract many admirers. It is not too late to change or temper your diet, Gemini. Keep your sweet tooth and nibble appropriately. Just don’t serve Christmas fruitcake.

CANCER   (JUNE 22 - JULY 23)
Relationships can heat up and melt the snow. So nurture and treasure your partner and find creative ways to celebrate the season together. Cancers who are currently seeking a special someone will have their choice of possibilities. But you have to get out and look. Don’t sit by the fireplace and wait for Santa to stuff one in your stocking.

LEO   (JULY 24 - AUGUST 23)
There will be a temptation to put all your energies into your job now, working hard and long into the night. But don’t.  Try to find the balance between the demands of the job and the joys of celebration Take time out for a festive office party or, even better, an out-of-office party. All work and no play makes Leo lions frazzled felines.

VIRGO   (AUGUST 24 - SEPTEMBER 23)
Virgos are the toasts of the town and the party meisters of the moment. Savor every event and brand it with your own personal charm. Eat, drink and be very merry. Too too soon you will have to refocus your attentions on the bottom line and find ways to fund your assorted fun times. In the meantime, find a well endowed benefactor to cushion you.

LIBRA   (SEPTEMBER 24 - OCTOBER 23)
Gather family members around the hearth Libra. Find ways to reach out to even distant relatives to join in. There may be some out of control emotional encounters but that just adds to the memories as the year progresses. But avoid any home improvements at this time. You think you like the walls red and green but just wait until the spring when the light changes.

SCORPIO   (OCTOBER 24 - NOVEMBER 22)
Do you have a pithy opinion to share? Hold off for a few weeks, Scorpio. You never know how your words will be received and the impact it will have on unintended recipients. Plan your strategies instead and see how you can quietly implement your personal goals unobtrusively, craftily and ultimately successfully. Vie for the element of surprise rather than front page news.

SAGITTARIUS   (NOVEMBER 23 - DECEMBER 22)
As carefully as you may plan your finances, the next few weeks  could bring a change in circumstance where you invest with your  heart rather than your head. Quick and easy money is not what it appears to be, Sagittarius. So tuck into your current nest egg and sit on it for a while. Celebrate the holiday frugally. Plan a few festive get togethers and join some new clubs or groups. See how you can expand your social circle into a huge revolving globe. Pisces will meet many new and interesting folks who can be important and helpful to you through the next year. So take the lead, get more involved and showcase your immense talents. Deck the halls.

So with that in mind, here are some lucky numbers that can be used in any helpful way. I gazed into a pool of water, Nostradamus-like, and contemplated the cosmos. Then I mixed the tarot cards and allowed the spirits to guide me to the cards that represent the lucky numbers for this week. Nothing is guaranteed but who knows ....?

Psychic Sylvia Browne Dies at Age 77

Sylvia Browne was a well known psychic who even helped police track crimes. According to the announcement on her website:

World renowned spiritual teacher, psychic icon, author, and lecturer Sylvia Browne passed away at on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA. Born October 19, 1936, Browne was 77 years old.

For nearly six decades, Sylvia Browne dedicated her life to helping others as a spiritual guide through private readings, past-life regressions and prayer groups that spanned the globe. Having been called upon to assist individuals, families, and law enforcement agencies across the U.S. and Canada on criminal investigations, she worked tirelessly as an advocate for justice, receiving several commendations for the positive impact her contributions provided.

Browne’s certainty in the existence of reincarnation remained a central theme in her philosophy and she believed it held the key to understanding life, though never imposing her values upon anyone. Often, she had been quoted as saying, "Take with you what you want and leave the rest behind."

A best-selling author, Browne published over 50 works throughout her life with 22 appearing on the New York Times Bestsellers List. She was also a frequent guest on radio and television shows including Larry King Live and The Montel Williams Show, where Browne’s appearances quickly became a popular weekly highlight among regular viewers for over 17 years.

But - According to the Huffington Post, Browne's predictions were not always accurate. As I always recommend, take all professed psychics and channelers with a grain of salt. Sometimes they offer you some clarity but no one can predict with certainty.
