Horoscope for the Week of January 20, 2014
A little bird told me that we need to prepare for things to move in a positive direction this week as the Sun enters Aquarius. That includes big causes, big news and big movements. So get moving, think big and don’t accept anything halfway or tiny.

ARIES (MARCH 21 - APRIL 20)
Don’t be surprised if you draw a crowd over the next weeks. Aries are suddenly thrust into the epicenter of the social swirl where they happily take charge. You become the lifeblood of any event and have some great ideas as to how to bring various people together. Friends just can’t get enough of you. Lovers however are another thing. Share the glare.
TAURUS (APRIL 21 - MAY 21)
Taureans are corporately inclined. Keep a watchful eye on professional politics - you can discern any distant rumblings and make it work in your favor. If you are not currently in charge, you grab an opportunity to show senior staff what you can do. Strut upon the stage. But be sure that it is not a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury and signifying nothing.
GEMINI (MAY 22 - JUNE 21)
If you are not planning a nice relaxing vacation now, you should be. You benefit from anything that gets you away from the usual and enables you to spread your influence globally. It can be by cruising the internet or just cruising .... on the ocean. Geminis can totally unwind and lower the bee hive buzz. How about some vodka stingers by the sea?
CANCER (JUNE 22 - JULY 23)
Scratch an itch and focus on what really turns you on this week. Cancers feel sexy, sultry and even a bit mischievous. Don’t be shy. You manage to find a few co-conspirators to enable and encourage you in your assorted sorted pursuits. So allow your friskiness full reign. You simply cannot be tied down. Unless of course that is your “thing”.
LEO (JULY 24 - AUGUST 23)
The cosmos strongly suggests that this is the time to make your big move. Leos may be hanging on the sidelines, watching all the action and waiting for the right time. Get going. You can make some powerful connections to others and form strong relationships. For those comfortably settled in, use this time to strengthen the ties that bind. Maybe tie the knot? Ouch!
VIRGO (AUGUST 24 - SEPTEMBER 23)
Prepare for the all-too-soon swimsuit season this week. Take a good sidelong look in the mirror and see if you are ready for your close-up. Hmm. You now have the impetus to get into better shape and revitalize your overall health and fitness regimes. Virgos can also tackle any detailed project and clear their desks of work. Oh goodie.What fun.
LIBRA (SEPTEMBER 24 - OCTOBER 23)
This is no time to be serious and pouty. Enjoy life, a flirty romance or a wildly creative artistic diversion. The party finds you and you must be ready to participate. Libras can (and do) unleash their fun side and take a creative leap or two. Does a cabaret act involving a can opener, mouse ears and a jar of pickles count? Heck yes!
SCORPIO (OCTOBER 24 - NOVEMBER 22)
Serious consideration should be paid to any domestic issue. Scorpios feel they’re in the middle of a tornado that blows their feelings, possessions and plans into far winds. This is the week to gain control and place things back in order. And maybe not in the exact same order. Don’t recreate old patterns. Break free, be yourself and dance the dance. No, not disco.
SAGITTARIUS (NOVEMBER 23 - DECEMBER 22)
Speak from the heart, let others know how you feel and expect some wonderful responses. Reaching out and expressing your true desires should be your mantra this week, Sagittarius. You can be very persuasive for a change and seem to have a lot of “asks”. Ask away! Before you know it your inspiration is stoked and your persona is stroked. Go for broke.
CAPRICORN (DECEMBER 23 - JANUARY 20)
What is it that motivates Capricorns now? I think it must be money, money, money. The secret to happiness is management of your load. Careful planning will bring its rewards but thriftiness will not scratch your itch. There are a few little expensive trinkets that you simply must have. AQUARIUS (JANUARY 21 - FEBRUARY 19)
This week hearkens new beginnings, new people and a new perspective on life. This means that you should not rest on your laurels nor should you rely on the usual tricks of the trade to just get by. Just “getting by” will simply not do. Stretch yourself, Aquarius. Get out of your box and go where you have never gone before. No, not Scranton.
PISCES (FEBRUARY 20 - MARCH 20)
A light shines in your most secret places and reveals a load of dust and assorted grimy garbage. Clean it up and throw it out Pisces.
