Washington, DC: I was born two hours after the change of sun sign from Virgo to Libra. I know that this is called "on the cusp," but there seems to be a disagreement within the astrology community as to whether that means I show characteristics of both signs, or whether I am definitely a Libra, and any Virgo aspects of my personality come from other influences in my chart. Where do you stand on this issue?
Charlene Lichtenstein: Check an Ephemeris to find out your exact sun sign. The cusps shift from year to year but you were born in one sun sign. If you email me your birthdate with year, I can look it up for you.
The reason why you may display attributes of the other sign is that your Venus, Mars and/or Mercury (which tend to be in our sun sign or the sign before or after) are probably in the other sign. You may want to check your whole birth chart with all the planet placements.
