John Green - You are not Normal
Sunday 15th October 2017 - 15.30-18.00 BST

You are not normal! Ever had that said to you? How do we actually define what is normal in regards to the mental and emotional states of human beings? It seems daily we are asked on social media questions like ‘Was your ex a narcissist? A psychopath?’ The haphazard diagnosis of people as being depressed, or suffering ADHD and so on, both by the public, media and some mental health professionals seems to ask a larger question – ‘What is normal?’ This is the question we will look at today.
We will be exploring if anyone can be considered normal, and if there are any definitions we can usefully apply. Is there an astrological pattern to certain mental and emotional states, and should we be categorising anyone within our astrological practice?

Shawn Nygaard - The 6th House: With Twilight as My Guide
Sunday 22nd October 2017 - 15.30-18.00 BST

In traditional Hellenistic astrology, the 6th House carries a rather ominous label: Bad Fortune. What exactly does this mean, and what psychological insight can be gained by recognizing this quality of the 6th House? Through the symbolism of twilight -- recognized by cultures worldwide as a complicated transition time between day and night, the time when the Sun sets below the horizon but daylight has not entirely disappeared -- we can shed some half-light on the 6th House itself to understand the dynamics of planets that reside here or simply move through this house on any given day. This webinar features an in-depth look at twilight time itself, as well as numerous chart examples that offer a glimpse of the twilight dynamics of the 6th House, and how Fate and Fortune play a curious role in the lives of 6th House people.

Clare Martin - Astrology and Images of the Masculine
Sunday 29th October 2017 - 15.30-18.00 GMT

This webinar will consider four major aspects of the masculine, equally relevant in the horoscopes of men and women. In their book King Warrior Magician Lover, Jungian analysts Robert Moore and Douglas Gillette argue that mature masculinity is generative, protective and empowering of the self and others.. For women, the development of a creative and nurturing inner masculine is essential if she is to experience positive and supportive relationships with the outer masculine. Using themes from myth and literature, we will explore the major masculine archetypes in our charts, their positive and shadow qualities, and their immature and mature expressions.

Helen Sewell - The Sun in Psychological Astrology
Sunday 12th November 2017 - 15.30-18.00 GMT

The Sun sign is the first thing everyone learns in astrology and is indeed the most important principle in the chart. Yet, when giving readings, astrologers often brush over the Sun and focus on more complex aspects, perhaps to avoid associations with the overly-simplistic 'star sign' predictions in newspaper columns.
In this webinar I will be exploring this powerful symbol itself, looking at myth and going deeper into its psychological meaning as the centre of the personality and our sense of identity, the archetypal transpersonal core of the psyche which lies behind the ego complex.
As the Sun’s light shines on us it casts a dark shadow – it is only by confronting the shadow side of all the sun signs that consciousness evolves, bringing the ego and the Self into true relationship and wholeness.

Darby Costello - Saturn in Capricorn: A first look at the coming transit
Sunday 10th December 2017 - 15.30-18.00 GMT

On the 21st of December, Saturn will go into Capricorn. It will be there until the 18th of December 2020, with the exception of a few months at either end. In early 2020 it will conjoin Pluto in Capricorn. As always with strong Saturn placements we can say it will be a testing time, personally and collectively. But what sort of tests are we looking at? During this webinar we shall begin to explore ways of navigating this transit to understand how each of are part of reshaping the structures and systems of our emerging new world.. We shall also look back at the 1989 transit, when Uranus and Neptune were in Capricorn, and at the generations who are experiencing their Saturn returns during this time.

Lynn Bell - Obsession, Possession, Control and Freedom: When relationships go wrong, How do we make them right?
Sunday 17th December 2017 - 15.30-18.00 GMT

Aspects between personal planets and the transpersonals, whether in the birth chart or by transit, often create havoc with relationship. Every relationship encodes a task, and it may not be the one we imagine at the very beginning. If you find yourself sleeping next to a monster, or living with a fury, you may have entered upon one of the archetypal tasks of relationship, the battle with your own demons. When it seems so right and then goes so wrong, it almost always has something to do with us. While we may avoid the wrong the wayward and the wicked, to truly grow, we also need to find the dropped stitch in our own pattern.
