Lynn Bell
Mothers and their Children
Sunday 3rd February 2019 - 15.30-18.00 GMT

Our first caretaker, the one who gives us life (or her replacement), is often carried in our charts through the Moon and its aspects. But other planets, and the Midheaven can describe her, and other people can play her role. Whatever is constellated around this fundamental relationship, has a deep emotional imprint throughout our lives.  How do our real-life carers correspond to the image in the birth chart? How do we integrate the power of the past in our adult lives?

Mothers come in many guises: controlling ones, and frightening ones, efficient workaholics, and devoted single parents. There are devouring mothers and sainted martyrs. Mothers who love babies only up to the age of six. It is the power of the child’s imagination that embellishes the Mother and breathes life into her archetype throughout our lives.

Participants are welcome to volunteer their charts for possible inclusion in the webinar. (Please email chart data of yourself and your mother once you have booked and before 25th January. You will need a headset in order to talk to Lynn during the webinar.)

Clare Martin
Pluto - To Hell and Back
Sunday 17th February 2019 - 15.30-18.00 GMT

The myth of Hades, god of the underworld, is intimately connected with the myth of Demeter, Goddess of Nature, and the transformation of her daughter Persephone from innocent maiden (Kore) to Queen of the Underworld.  The story of Demeter and Persephone was ritually re-enacted in the Eleusinian Mysteries, secret religious rites observed annually in ancient Greece for two thousand years.  They are believed to have celebrated the cyclical nature of life, the recognition that death is always followed by rebirth.  It was said of those initiated at Eleusis that they emerged radically changed, freed from the fear of death, in the realisation of eternal life which lies behind the appearance of constant change.

Represented in the horoscope by Pluto and its transits, recognition and acceptance of the destructive and creative power of nature, as Great Mother, is vital to transforming both ourselves and the world.  By confronting our own depths, by meeting and burning through our own small inheritance of the demonised and distorted unconscious forces of Pluto, we can transform its expression in our own lives and return it to the collective as a regenerated life force.

Fire: The Heart of Knowing
Sunday 24th February 2019 - 15.30-18.00 GMT

Fire is a dangerous and unpredictable element when uncontrolled and yet it is at the heart of our lives as human beings.  Our ability to control fire has given us a freedom that has allowed us to settle in all parts of the world, and to explore the planet, and beyond.  At another level, fire is the element that represents our ability to know things directly – it shows us our intuitive function.  It represents the imaginal realm and is at the heart of our creative lives.  It is how we ‘know’ things, directly.  In this webinar we shall explore the realm of fire, through its signs, planets and houses.

Safron Rossi
The Gatekeeper Archetype and the Angles
Sunday 3rd March 2019 - 15.30-18.00 GMT

The four angles of the birth chart are profoundly sensitive points, as anyone who has had an outer planet transit over one knows. The angles symbolize how we meet the world and take in experience, acting as gateways of consciousness. Every gateway or threshold has a gatekeeper, a guardian who protects the territory that lies beyond.  Astrologically, these are the rulers of the angles. This lecture will explore the archetype of the Gatekeeper so to deepen our understanding the role of the angles and their respective houses, and how our angle rulers hold the keys to cultivating these fields of life.

Participants are welcome to volunteer their charts for possible inclusion in the webinar. (Please email chart data of yourself and your mother once you have booked and before 15th February. You will need a headset in order to talk to Safron during the webinar.)

Shawn Nygaard
Saturn and Jupiter: Puer & Senex
Sunday 10th March 2019 - 15.30-18.00 GMT

Jupiter in Sagittarius and Saturn in Capricorn together in the sky draw out the timeless, archetypal figures of the Eternal Youth (Puer) and the Old Man, or Father Time (Senex). The Puer carries sky-high visions and longings that keep Eternity close at hand, in contrast with the Senex’s earthbound world of Time and mortality.

Both are significant energies as we approach an abundance of planets in Capricorn in 2020 and talk in today’s world is of building walls and restricting borders, while dystopias dominate many dreams of the future.

In this webinar we will look at the complex dynamics of this archetypal pairing, in mythology and in the natal chart. We'll look at why they are important (especially as a pair) and relevant to this period of history. And we'll see how they operate in relationships.

Sorrow is Knowledge: Chiron in the Chart and by Transit
Sunday 17th March 2019 - 15.30-18.00 GMT

“But Grief should be the Instructor of the wise;
Sorrow is Knowledge: they who know the most
Must mourn the deepest o'er the fatal truth,
The Tree of Knowledge is not that of Life.”
Lord Byron, Manfred

Why do we bother with Chiron in a chart? He’s not even a proper planet and how much influence does this wandering, wounded maverick have on our charts? In my experience of the past few years – a lot. There is more to Chiron than just the wound which does not heal. In this webinar I will look at Chiron natally, explore that mixture of personal and collective hurt that he brings to us and examine what happens as he transits the personal planets of our charts. We will also consider the meaning of Chiron in Aries.

How can we learn to cope with the suffering and loss that Chiron can often bring? Is acceptance the hardest word for us to utter and can it ever bring about true healing?

ARIES (MARCH 21 - APRIL 20)
Are you a company cog or a freelance pioneer, Aries. You may waver between wanting to strike out on your own or joining the greater corporate cause. Try to find balance in how you decide to tackle any long term goals and personal projects. Maybe you will bond with others in the short term and fly to the highest heights alone later on. Be careful of low ceilings!

TAURUS (APRIL 21 - MAY 21)
A few mysteries may be solved now, Taurus, and the answers may catapult you into global circles. You have been followed and appraised. Now the crowd will give you their review. Take each new revelation one at a time and be flexible in how you react. If done well, this could be your grand moment in the sun. Pack that sunscreen in case you burn the scenery.

GEMINI (MAY 22 - JUNE 21)
Geminis may try to turn a perfectly good friendship into a torrid love affair. Okay... But just be sure that this liaison has the capability to become something longer term before you act. Balance after the fact will be hard to maintain. It would be a shame to ruin a great relationship for the sake of a few hot moments. Hmmm, or is it all worth it?

CANCER (JUNE 22 - JULY 23)
Partners want and need much more of your attention than you are willing or able to give right now. Finding the right balance between the demands of your career and the desires of your special someone will be harder than usual. Cancers who are seeking a soulmate may find them at work. But they could be too busy themselves to notice your “come hither” eyes.

LEO (JULY 24 - AUGUST 23)
Travel will have its surprises and detours now. You are anxious to get out of your usual rut and experience more excitement and variety in your life. But you also may be a bit scattered and wasteful of time and money. Leos on the loose should find a practical travel mate to make sure that they don’t get too lost or far afield. But maybe that is the plan?

VIRGO (AUGUST 24 - SEPTEMBER 23)
Virgos are not only fun-filled and ornery, they are also a hot sexy ticket ready to be redeemed. So don’t sit home and wait for a knock on the door. No one will know that you are there. You need to get out and see what the world can offer you in terms of creativity and romance. Who knows? Your spring season may start with an early thaw.

LIBRA (SEPTEMBER 24 - OCTOBER 23)
Plan more home based activities now, Libra. Anything that involves dinner parties, family get togethers and snuggling on the couch with a special you-know-who will have added benefits than just relaxation. Enjoying the company of others while also accomplishing a few long term household projects can work even better. Maybe there is a way to combine the two?

SCORPIO (OCTOBER 24 - NOVEMBER 22)
How strategic can a Scorpio be? We will just have to wait and see. You have great powers of concentration and persuasion and can now put them to good use in any of your special interests. See what you can do and say to move your personal agenda a giant leap forward. Before you know it you will control the world. Then what? Heh. Heh.

SAGITTARIUS (NOVEMBER 23 - DECEMBER 22)
Fun may start to get rather expensive for you, Sagittarius. You are ready, willing and able to set the scene on high energy and get the crowds going on a moment’s notice. Any spur of the moment festivity may sound wonderful but try to check the price tag before you buy in. They say that the best things in life are free... but what do they know.

CAPRICORN (DECEMBER 23 - JANUARY 20)
Capricorns are true charmers now. Anyone you first meet can become entranced with your grace and aplomb. Oh do you have them fooled! Slowly roll out your strategic personal plans and make merry while others aren’t paying close attention. Before you know it you will have them eating out of your hand. Maybe you should wear gloves...?

AQUARIUS (JANUARY 21 - FEBRUARY 19)
There will be more surprises than you think as you get more involved in local community projects. Aquarians are born to lead in any good effort. But be sure that you know what you are really getting into now. You can make magic but magic alone won’t get the project off the ground. Maybe planning a great party or event will get others to join in.

PISCES (FEBRUARY 20 - MARCH 20)
Even if you feel very secure with your financial situation, new events may cause you to reassess your spending patterns and levels of generosity. Don’t be shy in explaining your sudden thriftiness, Pisces. And ramp up your attention to your career and other long term goals to estimate the relative pay off of each option. Planning now leads to luxury later.

Lucky Numbers for the Week of January 25, 2019

Lottery ads tell us you only need a dollar and a dream. But it is also helpful to have a list of lucky numbers to help spur the good fortune ... or fortunes. So with that in mind, here are some lucky numbers that can be used in any helpful way. I gazed into a pool of water, Nostradamus-like, and contemplated the cosmos. Then I mixed the tarot cards and allowed the spirits to guide me to the cards that represent the lucky numbers for this week. Nothing is guaranteed but who knows ....?

I choose eight numbers because 8 is the number of wealth.

Here are the lucky numbers for the week of January 25-31, 2019:

1, 9, 17, 20, 32, 36, 65, 77

There are many ways to delve into your own consciousness to find luck and intuition. Try reading Dream Power/Improve Your Luck (Super Strength Series) and see if your dreams give you any clues and premonitions. Here's a guide to the best books available this month

Jenni Stone Was Asked About the 13th Sign of the Zodiac ...

... and here is what she said:

There are four seasons of the year - 24 hours in the day - the earth revolves around the sun - and arrives at the same solstice point on a day that can be calculated years in advance - and we know that because the Sunlight hits the same spot in the Stonehenge circle every year - and has been doing that for five thousands years already.

And…..there are twelve zodiac signs - each one is consistent with an archetype of personality that is recognizable – in every culture - since the beginning of time.

The Universe is elegantly timed and beautifully symmetrical – so don’t go messing it up with trying to divide a circle into 13 parts – that’s just nuts.
