Coney Island Event with Paranormal Expert Mark Sceurman

Mark Sceurman has been investigating the weird and unusual in his home state of New Jersey for over 30 years, compiling over 56 volumes of travels through haunted homes, abandoned factories and underground tunnels entitled Weird NJ. Not only traveling in the paranormal realm, his search to seek out the truth between local legends, mysterious areas and the darker side of history has been an ongoing theme.

Sceurman has also traveled across the United States to seek out similar legends and paranormal hot spots, co-producing 40 books with Mark Moran proving that each state has its own share of strangeness to be told.

He claims his next door neighbor has knowledge of aliens and time travel but has told him he cannot divulge any information. His neighbor only wears dark glasses and white shirts. Sceurman was once visited at home by the Men In Black, asking if his neighbor ever talked about his job. He received a letter in the mail with samples of dirt claiming to be from Mars, and another letter from someone who wants to show him a portal to the Inner Earth, which happens to be in New Jersey.

He claims the encounters with people that he comes in contact with are sometimes more frightening than any haunted house. He has never had a close encounter but would like to.

Mark Moran is lifelong resident of New Jersey, and graduate of Parson's School of Design in the NYC. As co-publisher, writer and photographer of Weird NJ Magazine, Mark has spent the last 28 years wandering the back roads, back alleys and backwoods of the Garden State and beyond, seeking out mysteries and trying to find explanations for the unexplainable.

Mark is the co-creator of the bestselling Weird NJ and Weird U.S. series of books published by Barnes & Noble. He has co-authored more than 40 books, 60 magazines, and was the co-host of the Weird U.S. television show, which aired on the History Channel.

In addition to his ongoing role as commentator on Travel Channel’s Paranormal Caught on Camera, Mark has made frequent TV appearances on other shows, like; The Holzer Files and Trending Fear.

These days Mark lives a seemingly normal life in a quiet Jersey suburb. Mercury Retrograde May 29 - June 22, 2021

Mercury Retrograde May 29-June 22, 2021

Every year the planet  Mercury goes retrograde three times.   This year the first one was from late January into February and the coming one begins on May 29^th at 6:35 pm EDT ending on June 22^nd at 6:01 pm.   In 2021 the last time Mercury will be retrograde is from September 27^th until October 18^th.   During the coming  Mercury retrograde it will be transiting Gemini, the sign that Mercury rules.  The retrograde begins when Mercury is at 24 degrees 41 minutes of Gemini and ends on June 22 with Mercury at 16 degrees and 9 minutes of the same sign.   The planets move from east to west  but while  retrograde they appears to be going backwards.   That’s due to the earth’s position in relationship to Mercury.  These occurrences have an influence on human behavior and sometimes quite a strong one.  Although Mercury turns direct on June 22 and things begin to become more coherent,  there’s even more clarity as it moves to  the exact degree  it went retrograde at 24 degrees 41 minutes , on July 7^th.

During the time Mercury is retrograde its influence becomes more internalized.   People become more introspective and like those who were born under Mercury retrograde there’s more of a tendency to think before speaking.  Something that’s generally good to do but which there isn’t always the opportunity to so.   Many successful authors were born while Mercury was retrograde and even if you weren’t, it’s a good time to go over, reflect on and write down your ideas and opinions before sharing them with others.

Those familiar with things that have  happened  while this planet is retrograde are aware of the delays, mistakes and mishaps that more frequently occur at these times.   Give yourself more time to do what you need to and try not to act in a rushed manner for everyone else is under the influence of Mercury  retrograde  and as a result slower to pick up and perceive information and not as open to initiating projects.  If possible, it’s best  not to  purchase new mechanical or technological equipment.  More often during this retrograde period things are more apt to break down and have a need to be replaced.  If you have to make a sudden and unexpected purchase of equipment or technology,  get a warranty where it can be easily replaced or repaired.   More likely there’s apt to be delays getting in touch with either tech support or the sales department  whomever you need to contact.  Mercury also rules paperwork so go over contacts and agreements and if possible, put off signing and finalizing them until Mercury is no longer retrograde.

Non crucial or emergency medical and dental appointments should be avoided.  If you want clear test results which don’t have to be repeated, put it off until Mercury has gone direct.   Both Mercury and Gemini, the sign it’s moving through,  are about information, which particularly needs to be clear when it comes to one’s health.   Gemini is the sign of breathing and the lungs and allergies should be more than apparent during this period.

Mercury retrogrades are periods  to take to take it easy as well as spend more time on inner and personal development.  One’s world seems to slow down a bit and though it’s important to deal with whatever is needed,  it’s a good time to reflect on where you are now and where you want to be.  The world might seem more complicated and confused but by reflecting and looking inward about yourself and the things you’ve done and learned, there can be more clarity and understanding of what and why we’re here.   For there are times one doesn’t value the moment until it becomes a memory.

Horoscope for the Week of May 24, 2021 - Mercury and Saturn Retrograde

Virgos may be working doubly hard over the next few weeks as certain tasks require re-dos. You are usually vary careful and efficient but the fates seem to mix up the directions, instructions and even the supplies. Why ask why? Try to maintain your calmness and composure and plow ahead. These mix-ups may even prove to be educational. We hope.

LIBRA (SEPTEMBER 24 - OCTOBER 23)
If you are planning a party, Libra, make sure that everyone knows all of the details ... and remind them a few times. Invitations to fun events may have a way of going astray. In fact any excursion local or otherwise can wind up as a wild goose chase. So while travel in general seems to go a little off track, remember that it can become a great adventure!

SCORPIO (OCTOBER 24 - NOVEMBER 22)
Honesty is the best policy when it comes to close relationships, Scorpio. But now it might be good to add a dollop of sugar and diplomacy since your message may get muddled or mis-communicated. Something nice and frothy can be a happy memory. While there will be time in the near future to tell it like it is, for now tell it like it can be.

Interactions with neighbors could go well, hit a snag or be confused, depending on how carefully you craft your message. Sagittarians often talk without thinking.
