How many people do you know who are, in Marie-Louise Von Franz words, “ Charming, creative, affectionate but averse to any kind of emotional or material restriction? Mercury is known for its affinity for the “in-between” The planet and the signs it rules need to be in motion, to move from one place, person, or idea to another. In doing so, immense creative potential is set in motion and yet often these individuals cannot ‘bear the weight’ of permanence.

As the Devouring Father, Saturn swallows the creative potential before it can mature, creating frustration and resentment when we cannot actualize our goals. Limitations and depression challenge us to look inward and demand we focus on how to manifest our creative potential. The Saturn cycle shows our personal history of challenges with authority and how we have responded. Our willingness to address these challenges create opportunities for developing an inner sense of authority in a particular area of life. This presentation demonstrates how to track Saturn’s life events and assist one in seeing the unfolding of their unique life story. |

In The Red Book, Carl Jung notes, “This tangible and apparent world is one reality, but fantasy is the other reality.” This statement, both simple and complex, is a doorway into understanding the dynamics between Saturn (most aligned with what we call tangible “reality”) and Neptune (most aligned with what we call “fantasy,” or psychic reality, or imagination). In the Spring of 2025, both Saturn and Neptune begin their move into the sign Aries, which marks the end of the current Saturn-Neptune cycle that began in 1989 in Capricorn and officially ends in February of 2026 when both planets conjoin at 0° Aries. This move into the start of a new Saturn-Neptune cycle is particularly important because 0° Aries is also the start of the entire zodiac.
This webinar explores the Saturn-Neptune cycle in depth, starting with the stark difference between the two planets, and then focusing on this current cycle, while also opening up the archetypal nature of the cycle in general – historically, culturally, artistically, psychologically, mythologically, and astrologically. Lastly, we’ll look at the unique and profound opportunity presented by both planets in the Mars-ruled, fiery sign of Aries, at the start of the zodiac, keeping in mind that Neptune in Aries is new to us all, given its almost 165-year orbit. |

This webinar will explore our personal experience of religion and spirituality, and our journey towards the beliefs we come to hold. Beyond the recognised designations of the 9th and 12th houses, or Jupiter and Neptune, the whole chart can be said to reveal our belief system and thus our personal cosmology – our way of seeing and relating to the world. Since the chart also reflects the ground of the family and the inheritance of the past, it will also reflect themes which characterise the family's belief system, inevitably shaping our own views. We will explore all of this, along with a wider view of the function of religion and the wide spectrum of beliefs and spiritualities that characterise the contemporary world. The purpose is to explore spirituality as a mirror: what does our sense of the sacred say about us as an individual and how can this deepen our understanding of ourselves? |
