Pet Horoscope - September 2008

The summer is winding down, but there is still quite a bit of sun-baked energy going around. Keep your eye on the antics of our furry, feathery and scaley pals as Mars moves into independent Sagittarius.

 

ARIES   (MARCH 21 - APRIL 20)
Aries pets may have a tendency to wander off this month thanks to active Mars. Wise parents will make sure that the screen doors are closed and the windows are only slightly ajar. When all else fails, dust off the leash...

 

TAURUS   (APRIL 21 - MAY 21)
Taurean pets are especially rambunctious and randy this September and can get into all sorts of mischief. If you are not interested in the pitter patter of new little paws or claws be sure to buy them a toy to keep their mind off natural pursuits.

 

GEMINI   (MAY 22 - JUNE 21)
If Gemini pets seem a little needy this month, give them more attention and make them feel special. They want your company and may not leave you alone for a minute. If this seems unusual, wait until next month when Mars moves on and their attention goes elsewhere.

 

CANCER   (JUNE 22 - JULY 23)
Cancer pets are hard at work this September digging, hiding and generally running around. Expect little gifts to be left on your pillow. Be sure to give them a little extra in their dinner plates as a reward.

 

LEO   (JULY 24 - AUGUST 23)
Your Leo pet may happily knock over a few treasures this month thanks to an overactive Mars in Sagittarius. Batten down the hatches and engage them in activities that keep them on ground level.

 

VIRGO   (AUGUST 24 - SEPTEMBER 23)
Virgo pets are content to stay around the house this September. They may be found happily hiding under the bed, in the bathtub or in the back of the closet. Goad them out with a treat...

 

LIBRA   (SEPTEMBER 24 - OCTOBER 23)
There is a clatter, chatter and clamor around Libra pets this month as Mars encourages them to communicate. Ordinarily quiet pets may be making quite a racket. Thank goodness, this too shall pass.

 

SCORPIO   (OCTOBER 24 - NOVEMBER 22)
Scorpio pets may be especially selfish with their toys this month and may hide things around the house to protect them. Try not to step on anything in the dark.

 

SAGITTARIUS   (NOVEMBER 23 - DECEMBER 22)
Sagittarian pets are full of personality and energy now. Others gravitate to them and they are the hit of the block or dog walk. Treat them to a grooming session. They are more aware of their appearance and would love it!

 

CAPRICORN   (DECEMBER 23 - JANUARY 20)
Capricorn pets seem more intuitive now and can sense when they are being fed dry food or human food. Don’t try to fool them while herding them into the travel case for a trip to the vet. They will hide until October!

 

AQUARIUS   (JANUARY 21 - FEBRUARY 19)
Aquarian pets are especially popular now and they love it. They walk with confidence, looking for compliments and a few cuddles. Anyone that comes near them has to give them loads of attention. This makes a simple walk last for hours.

 

PISCES   (FEBRUARY 20 - MARCH 20)
Pisces pets seem especially careful this September and may refrain from risky behavior like climbing to the top of the refrigerator or jumping over a favorite table. Do they want to make a good impression or are they just tired?? Ask them.

Pet Horoscope - August 2008

Celebrate the dog (and cat) days of August! Fido and Fluffy may change their minds and area of focus once... or twice... or more at this time. Don’t get annoyed -  just blame it on the planets.

ARIES   (MARCH 21 - APRIL 20)
Talk about pushy pushy. Aries pets are even more ... effusive, (shall we say)... than usual this month. It seems that they just can't contain their desire to communicate to the immediate world. Warn the neighbors!

TAURUS   (APRIL 21 - MAY 21)
Taurus pets may not play well or share with others this August. Acquisition becomes the be all end for them and they hide their toys and growl and hiss at whoever comes near. Try to understand from their side; they need something to call their own.

GEMINI   (MAY 22 - JUNE 21)
Gemini pets may try to keep a low profile around you this month as they concentrate more on rest and relaxation. Give them room to roam and try not to make too many demands. You may have to fetch your own newspaper.

CANCER   (JUNE 22 - JULY 23)
Cancer pets tend to stay close to home for the month which is fine with them; They prefer to stay close to home base anyway. Treat them to a little excitement by buying them a new treat or toy. They need some stimulation and exercise and this is the best way to do so.

LEO   (JULY 24 - AUGUST 23)
Leo pets may be at little on the pooped side this August when the planet sap their energy. At any rate, the glorious Leo energy cannot be supressed and they are the center of attention anyway. They make the best of it and manage to charm just about anyone.

VIRGO   (AUGUST 24 - SEPTEMBER 23)
Who wants to be in charge of things? Virgo pets do. These guys are on a mission whether it’s collecting all their insects  into a corner or arranging your chewed shoes under the bed. Don’t even try to tell them what to do; they won’t listen anyway. Wait until next month to send them to obedience school...

LIBRA   (SEPTEMBER 24 - OCTOBER 23)
Libra pets are anxious to travel; to hit the road and take off for parts unknown. Keep an extra watchful eye on them to be sure that they do not stray too far afield. Give them something to keep their mind off their wanderlust. An extra cuddle couldn’t hurt...

SCORPIO   (OCTOBER 24 - NOVEMBER 22)
Scorpio pets are in their element this month as sexual energy is high and well focused. Watch out! There may be a tendency to wander off in search of conquests. This energy soon passes and they are on to new ideas and new excitements soon enough.

SAGITTARIUS   (NOVEMBER 23 - DECEMBER 22)
Sag pets seek companionship this month to give them  support and love. Be sure to give them a little extra attention to let them know that you appreciate them. Let them have a few furry or feathery friends over - they will get into less mischief that way!

CAPRICORN   (DECEMBER 23 - JANUARY 20)
Cap pets are not as graceful as usual this month and may hit into things around the house in their travels. Breakage is possible so keep a careful eye on anything that is especially fragile or irreplaceable. Better still, give them full run of the rumpus room and let them create a rumpus.

AQUARIUS   (JANUARY 21 - FEBRUARY 19)
Party hearty is the keynote of the month for all Aquarius pets. Energy is high and they are raring to go! Lucky you! Keep them occupied and out of mischief. Better still, let them roam the backyard to diffuse some of that frantic energy.

PISCES   (FEBRUARY 20 - MARCH 20)
Pisces pets want to change their surroundings. Don’t be surprised if they move their favorite things around or find a new special place to lounge around. New things spark their imagination and playfullness. Try setting up a mirror for them to peer into. Who’s that???
