Nick Moskaluk's Train Graffiti
Nick Moskaluk enjoys hearing everyone’s story, which is why graffiti on railroad cars intrigues him. Every car has a story as it travels coast to coast, and the art along the sides perfectly expresses that journey.
“Too many people are very quick to dismiss the graffiti that covers these rail cars off as vandalism and I guess it could be hard to argue against that but you have to respect the effort that goes into making any one of these pieces. Maybe it’s the colours, the shapes, the tag lines or the unique murals but I think the one thing that keeps pulling me back to shooting these pieces is the mystery of who, when, where and why they were done.”
