Today in New York Weather History: November 21
1987
This morning's low of 18° (twenty-two degrees below average) would be quite cold even in mid-winter. It followed by just three days a 70-degree reading and was the coldest reading in November since 1976 (when the low on 11/30 was 17°).
1991
This morning's low was a very mild 62°, twenty-two degrees above average and a record for the date. It was the mildest low temperature in nearly seven weeks and came in the midst of five days of unseasonably warm temperatures, that averaged fifteen degrees above average (high/low of 67°/54°).
I was married that day, Coldest November day I ever experienced in new York!
